On May 26, 2018 Sophia was told it would take 7 months of Chemo and Radiation to treat her cancer. This came after extensive surgery to remove a tumor from her body. Sophia has stepped up to the challenge in the same soft spoken delicate manner that she approaches life.

The Shafer's have a history of putting everyone around them first. Dennis quit his construction job in order to find work where he could "help people." Janeen has been making it a point to help everyone she can be healthy and fit. They've stepped up in there community time and time again.

It's our turn as a community to step up for them. Join us this Saturday to support a wonderful family as they battle cancer together.
